We’re always looking to get more comfortable, aren’t we? Well, pajamas are a good idea, and eco-friendly pajamas, made sustainably from responsibly sourced materials, are the pinnacle of comfort when at home (combine them with eco-friendly slippers). Look for certified organic cotton, bamboo, modal or even vegan silk – colored with non-toxic dyes. Further, if the brand practices fair trade principles and circularity, nothing like it.
TL;DR: Summersalt is your best friend when it comes to lounging. They use recycled materials from sustainable sources to create gorgeous eco-friendly pajamas.
What is the best cooling fabric for pajamas? Bamboo is awesome, and really keeps you cool and super comfy during the hot months. In fact, bamboo is a frequent material in organic bedding! But we’ve looked more closely at the top brands in the market for eco-friendly pajamas, and made a shortlist for you:
Sustainable Loungewear Brands

Mate The Label Tencel Sleep Pant Review: “I absolutely love these pants. They were my first purchase at Mate the Label and I want them in every color! They’re incredibly comfortable, not too warm, and the pockets are useful. I was worried they may be too long since I’m fairly short, but they’re perfect! It’s also nice to have comfortable sleepwear that’s also stylish :)”

Canadian brand Nest Designs’ eco-friendly products are inspired by their location in the beautiful Pacific NorthWest. They have lovely collections for men, women, kids, and families. New moms can also try their nursing lines. All the pajamas are made from bamboo or organic cotton.
Nest Designs Bamboo Jersey PJ Set Review: “I love these PJs! I am a Grandma and usually purchase nighties. Decided to change things up and am so glad I did! This fabric feels so soft, gentle and loving next to the skin. I dislike my legs getting tangled up with fabric and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that is not issue with this fabric. Silk has some unique properties that are very good for certain skin conditions, so don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. The products are designed in Ireland, and made in India.
